Revolutionary Photography Pricing! Tired of paying a photographer for a session, then paying for the photos to be edited, then paying for prints, then paying for cards? Me too. This is the digital age. Why are so many photographers trying to keep their clients from their pictures?

Kurz Studio Photography’s pricing structure is different. We charge up front for our work. You pay a session fee that also includes all of your digital negatives. Why would we hold pictures back from you? We don’t need them! They aren’t all that meaningful to us sitting on a disc in a closet! They are YOUR PICTURES!

We do have access to one of the best photo printing labs in the country, and we’d like our customers to see the benefits. But we don’t want to charge you crazy prices for pictures you’ve already purchased. So we decided that we will price our prints in such a way that we are not making a profit from them. Because you’ve already paid for those pictures, and we don’t want you to have to go get them printed at Walmart. The prices are a little higher than what you will see in local photo printing stores. That reflects the stunning quality of the prints. =)

SESSIONS

The Half-Sess (also known as the Mini Shoot) $100

Don’t want a whole hour of pictures? Just want a few great shots to use? You can use them in your graduation announcements. You can use them to look smart for college applications. You can use them to catch someone cute on Facebook. The Half-Sess is for you! Just a little bit of photography.

This session is small. It includes only a short shooting time… Half an hour or less. I choose the location within a short radius of our home in Carrollwood. (Don’t worry. There are some FANTASTIC green parks and some edgy overgrown lots near us!) There are no beaches close to us, so if you need beach shots you’ll have to choose a different session. We’ll probably only get one outfit in for this portrait session.

With this little session, you will get 10 digital images. As always, they will be high resolution and ready for you to print. I’ll pick my 10 favorites, edit them, and post them to an online gallery for you to grab. You can use them where you want them.

The Norm (a full session) $260

An hour long session at the location of your choice in the Tampa area. All of the images from the session will be edited, burned to disc, and mailed to you. There will usually be 100 images or so. We’ll also upload them to an online gallery if you like so you can share them with friends and family. You can print where you want, when you want from the disc. You can also order prints from our professional lab at great prices. You’ll still be able to share these just like the Half-Sess, but you’ll have way more to choose from. We’ll be able to fit 2-3 different outfits in for this shoot.

The Glam Session (Oo-La-La!) $460

This session lasts 2-3 hours. The best part of The Glam Session is that we will provide a makeup/hair artist to help you look your best. This session provides a little more time, so we can travel to a couple of different locations to change the look of the shoot. Maybe one part edgy and punk in the warehouse district around Ybor, then one part fresh and glamorous in a lush green meadow. You have options! Bring your whole wardrobe. Well, maybe just a suitcase.

The Glam Session provides you with all of your images on disc, edited and ready to print. You’ll also have access to prints from our professional lab at reasonable rates.
